DEL PICO, Gloria, J.

  Age 92, a resident of Braintree for 62 years, passed away July 25, 2017, with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Arman  J. Del Pico, devoted mother of Wayne Del Pico and his wife Krisanne, of Pembroke, and loving grandmother of Maria Laina and Kristina Del Pico.  Gloria was the daughter of Fedele and Catherine (Noris) Bortolotti, sister of Karen Lorusso and her husband Albert and the late Fred Bortolotti, Warren Bortolotti and Harold Bortolotti. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ann Bortolotti and many nieces and nephews.

   She was a graduate of Milton High School, and later in life Quincy College Nursing program.  A nurse for many years, she later expanded her love of nursing as a Nursing Home administrator.  She was a woman of endless compassion and quiet humility who saw the value in everyone.  She had an unshakeable faith in God, a deep love of her family, and an unquestionable system of high moral values that guided her actions in life.

   Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours Friday, July 28, 2017, from 5-8pm at the McMaster  Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (RT 37) Braintree . A Funeral  Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Church South Braintree Square. Burial will follow immediately at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
