F. Marie (Pearl) Parr

F. Marie (Pearl) Parr, died peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at the age of 91. She was he beloved wife of the late David J. Parr Jr.

Born in Waltham to the late Leland and Anna (Kearney) Pearl, Marie was raised in Wellesley and made her home in Braintree for the past 68 years.

An avid walker, Marie could be seen in all kinds of weather, taking her daily 9 mile walk around  Braintree.

Devoted to her Catholic faith, she was a member of St. Francis Assisi Parish for 65 years. Marie embraced her life as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her and the many lives she touched.

Marie is survived by her devoted and loving children, David J. Parr III and his partner Gary Battaglia of San Francisco CA, Maureen McDonough and her husband Joseph of Dorchester, Nancy Ciampi ( late husband Peter) of Taunton, and Carol Buonpane of Randolph. Cherished and much loved grandmother of Joseph McDonough, Lauren McDonough, John Buonpane, Kevin Buonpane, Peter Ciampi and Marissa Ciampi. Loving great grandmother of Sean, Jack, Alec, Jaida and 2 future great granddaughters. Sister of the late Leland Jack Pearl.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church 850 Washington St. Braintree, Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery Braintree. Visiting hours in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (RT 37) Braintree Monday May 7 from 5 to 8PM.
