Doris P (Bean) Barry

Doris P. (Bean) Barry 99 of Braintree passed away January 22, 2018. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Henry J. Barry Jr. Loving mother of the late Russell J. and Robert W. Barry. Sister of the late Marjorie L. Magnuson. Loving grandmother of Donna Banville and her husband Matthew of Braintree and Lynette Haughton and her husband Andrade of Weymouth. Great grandmother of Lorelai Rose and Maeve Catherine Banville,  Preston James and Braydon Russell Haughton.  Mother- in-law of the late Diane Barry. She is also survived by two nieces and their  families. Doris was born in Quincy and had been a lifelong resident of Braintree. She graduated from the Monatiquot School, Braintree High School and Boston University. Mrs Barry taught school in Portland Maine and Braintree at the Highlands and Lakeside Schools for thirty years. She volunteered at Lakeside School and Monatiquot School following her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Braintree, REAM, NRTA and Boston University Alumni Association.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 30th at 10 AM in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt37) Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home Monday from 5-7 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
