Dexter C Hadfield

Dexter C. Hadfield 71 of Braintree  passed away peacefully on January 4th 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Dexter was born in Brockton, raised in Holbrook and had lived most of his life in Braintree. He had worked for 30 years at Semline in East Bridgewater as a book binder. He was an avid bowler and belonged to many leagues over the years and was also a longtime member of the Mason's  Delta Lodge A.F. & A.M. Braintree. Dexter enjoyed his daily trips to Dunkin Donuts to meet up with his many friends, he will be missed by all who knew him including his loving wife of 43 years Helen (Davenport) Hadfield of Braintree, sons Jason Hadfield of Braintree and Jonathan and his wife Tracy Hadfield of Andover, his brother Douglas and his wife Nancy Hadfield of New Hampshire and Sister in law and brother in law Marsha and Ray Pike of Randolph. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was the brother of the late David Hadfield of Holbrook.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 9th at 10 AM in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt37) Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment Braintree Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family sincerely requests that donations in Dexter's memory may be made to Hospice of the South Shore 30 Reservoir Park Drive Rockland Ma 02370.
