Paula, Mark, Tori, Liz & all your families,
I am so sorry for all of you. Auntie Barbie was a special woman, beautiful inside and out! Many of my most loving childhood memories involve Auntie Barbie. My father loved his baby sister so much! She had the most beautiful penmanship too, LOL. I am so sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate her life and give you all a hug. I was so fortunate to be able to sit on a beautiful beach watching the sunrise on Sunday morning and say a prayer and reflect on life and death. With tears in my eyes I decided to "not cry because it's over, but smile because it happened". My hope is that with time you can all feel the same way. Hoping the days ahead will bring you some peace knowing it was a life well lived and now all of eternity with those she loved that went before her. Until we meet again Auntie Barbie, RIP. I will love and remember you always. xoxo Pat

As her other daughter - it is hard to know where to begin. Auntie Barbie was so much more than a favorite aunt - as I would not be the person I am today had I not had her by my side & in my corner. Barbie's willingness to see the good in others, her constant advice & everyday thoughts on life, people & politics shaped me. We shared a love of the beach - and Scituate - as she happily returned to Minot beach after a 50 year hiatus. My dad - her beloved brother Johnny - was her biggest fan. He told me that she was the original Barbie doll, Frank Sinatra's girlfriend and that she was the mayor of Braintree - and I believed it all. Paula & Tori were the center of her world and kept her busy & highly entertained - most recently with an extraordinary great-grandson Cooper. Her thoughts were never far from Mark as well - as she was so proud of his ability to move past the hard things in life & appreciate the good. I cannot imagine my life or my daughter Katie's life without her - we were so lucky to have her in our world. Somehow Barbie made it all look easy & interesting - from town hall meetings to Christmas dinners - with high heels & high hopes for all of us. Her sense of style - from her days of modeling in the 1950s - stayed with her - even as she preferred flip flops or red sneakers (with matching red glasses) in her later years. She & I kept up our tradition of new hats every Christmas - as Josie believed that a new hat could turn your day around. Her sense of fun & her laugh were contagious and she taught me to laugh through tears - as there is always something good to remember & always better days ahead. Barbie taught me the importance of friendship and reminded me often that friends are the family we choose for ourselves - yet she would be there always & forever - no matter what. May our memories & stories keep her alive in our hearts forever.

Paula & Mark,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Your Mother was a good and caring person and she will be missed by all.
Aunt Barbie "s front porch was a frequent stop for me (and Jimmy) for some years . We would stop by on the way back from visiting Mike .
God Bless you Barbie. I know you are with your Mom,Dad, Brothers and Sister now.
Rest in Pease.
