Anthony J. Lomasney

Braintree – Anthony J. Lomasney, age 23, a lifelong resident of Braintree, died unexpectedly, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at home.

Anthony was born in Boston and raised in Braintree. He was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., Class of 2019.

He was employed as a ski instructor at King Pine Ski Area in Madison, N.H.

Anthony loved spending time outdoors and had a passion for skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and surfing. He cherished time spent with his family on Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire. He also had an interest in mixed martial arts (MMA).

Beloved son of Mary T. Lomasney of Braintree.

Devoted brother of Ashley M. Lomasney.

Loving grandson of the late Marie T. (Gravina) Lomasney and her late companion Edward M. Fitzmaurice.

Anthony is survived by his dear uncle, Edward J. Lomasney and his late wife Doreen, and his cousins, Rachel and Brianna. He is also survived by a loving extended family of cousins and close friends.

Visiting hours will be held at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Rt. 37), Braintree, on Thursday, April 25, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree, on Friday, April 26, at 11:30 a.m. At the request of the family, interment will take place privately.
