Shirley M (Londergan) Stone

 Shirley M. (Londergan) Stone, age 88, of Braintree passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2016. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Stone. Shirley was born in Boston to Patrick and Genevieve (Reska) Londergan on March, 30, 1928. Loving mother of Robert and Karen Stone of Marshfield, Michael and Nancy Stone of Quincy, Kevin and Anne Stone of Colorado Springs, CO, Barbara (Stone) and Paul Fanning of Medway, Shawn and Gail Stone of Mason, OH. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sister of Richard Londergan of Boston, Dorothy (Londergan) Aleo of Chelsea and Gene Londergan of Dedham and the late Frances (Londergan) Noonan, Buddy Londergan, Mary “Bushy” (Londergan) MacDonald and Helen (Londergan) Wegler. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 3rd at 12 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington St. Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (RT37) Braintree prior to the mass from 10-11:30 AM. Interment Braintree Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely requests that donations in her name may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation P.O. Box 515 Northampton, Ma 01061-0515.
