Lucille (Strickland) Manganello

Lucille (Strickland) Manganello 88, of Braintree died peacefully Thursday April 27, 2016 at the Alliance Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Abel P. Manganello, dear mother of Ronald Manganello of Hanson, John Manganello of Braintree, Barbara Smith and her husband Donald of Wareham, Richard Manganello and his wife Jayne of Attleboro and Robert Manganello of Braintree. Loving sister of Alvin Strickland and Doris Lindsey both of MS., and the late Christine, John, Royce, Joyce, Alma and Mary. Cherished grandmother to nine, great-grandmother to six. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A resident of Braintree for the past 66 years, Lucille was born in Sturgis MS., a daughter of the late John and Annabelle (Williams) Strickland. Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was employed by Grass Instruments of Braintree. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 850 Washington St, Braintree, MA, Monday May 2, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. Visiting hours in the McMaster Funeral Home 86 Franklin St. (Rt.37) Braintree Sunday May 1 from 3-6 PM.
