Anna (Gawecka) Grzybek

Anna (Gawecka) Grzybek, 90, of Braintree passed away on May 24, 2016 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth. She was the beloved wife of the late John Grzybek, loving mother of Jeni Fairweather and her husband, Bill, of Middleboro, Barbara Grzybek and her husband, Bob Marchand, of North Andover, and Stan and Debera Grzybek of Salem and Danvers.  Dear grandmother of Lauren (Harvey) Newton and her husband Sanjay, and Mark and Jason Grzybek. Great grandmother of Saila Newton. Anna was born and raised in Poland and came to the US in the early 1950s. She brought up her family in Dorchester, and moved to Braintree to live with her daughter in 1998. For many years, she worked as a lab tech at the Mass General Hospital in Boston and retired in 1987. Anna was a devoted mother, and becoming a grandmother and then a great grandmother brought her incredible joy. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed. Private services were held at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
